What's Included:

COMPLETE PACKAGE READY FOR INSTALLATION

These Signal Mirrors are a direct replacement for standard OEM mirrors.
You will receive a Left and Right mirror plus the wiring and instructions
to install them in your vehicle. As the mirror housing does not need
to be changed it is NOT included except on some GM products
(these will be noted above in the NOTES)

If the vehicle has Electrochromic (EC or self-dimming) Exterior Mirrors, that feature will be lost with the Signal Mirrors.

All retrofit kits, except 52-220-0235-0/H and unless otherwise noted, require factory installed power mirrors to complete installation.

** Note for Heated Signal Mirror Installations:
If your vehicle does not have Heated mirrors (there should be an indicator on the mirror) then you
will require an H-MOD adapter to use them on your vehicle

When a turn signal is activated, a flashing chevron appears in the
corresponding side mirror to alert drivers in the "blind spots"
around and behind your vehicle.
The mirrors operate as regular rearview mirrors whether
the turn signals are activated or not.

Blind Spot Coverage		Improved Reaction Time
	Drivers in the colored "blind spots" are alerted of the intentions of a vehicle equipped with Signal mirrors.		Signal mirrors illuminate faster than conventional tail lamps.
Every year there are over 375,000 lane-change and merging traffic accidents. Over 700 of these accidents result in fatalities. Signal mirrors are positioned at the eye level of adjacent drivers making them more noticeable than conventional tail lights. With the increased popularity of taller vehicles, i.e. SUV's, trucks and mini-vans, a turn signal from the tail lamp may be "hidden" by these larger vehicles. The high intensity light from the Signal mirror may be the only visible indicator to drivers two or three cars back.		Signal mirrors use LED lamps which illuminate 1/5 of a second faster than conventional incandescent tail lights. This provides drivers in the "blind spot" of the Signal mirror equipped vehicle an additional 17 feet of reaction distance when traveling at 65 m.p.h. Thus, unlike other accessories that soften an accident, Signal mirrors actually may help prevent one.

The Signal mirror is visible from several car lengths back.		This animation shows that the driver sees only a subtle tell-tale display.
